I just purchased a Kouwell F7771 USB2.0 front panel port assembly and am trying to install it onto an ASUS A7V8X-X board. The pin lables on my board's USB56 do not exactly correspond to the lables on the F7771.
The ASUS USB56 pin array is :
USB+5V * * USB+6V
USB_P5- * * USB_P6-
USB_P5+ * * USB_P6+
GND * * GND
* NC
The F7771 USB wire pin assignment is:
1 RED (1) +5V
2 WHITE (1) - D
3 GREEN (1) +D
4 BLUE (1) GROUND
5 BROWN (1) GROUND
6 ORANGE (2) +5V
7 YELLOW (2) -D
8 GRAY (2) +D
10 BROWN (2) GROUND
Could someone please help me sort this out? I am confused about the wire/pin assignment............what wires go where. Thanks.... Roy
