Front Panel USB to MoBo Connection...HELP... PLS !!!???

I just purchased a Kouwell F7771 USB2.0 front panel port assembly and am trying to install it onto an ASUS A7V8X-X board. The pin lables on my board's USB56 do not exactly correspond to the lables on the F7771.

The ASUS USB56 pin assignment array is :

USB+5V * * USB+6V
USB_P5- * * USB_P6-
USB_P5+ * * USB_P6+
GROUND * * GROUND
* NC

The F7771 USB wire pin assignment is:

1 RED (1) +5V
2 WHITE (1) - D
3 GREEN (1) +D
4 BLUE (1) GROUND
5 BROWN (1) GROUND
6 ORANGE (2) +5V
7 YELLOW (2) -D
8 GRAY (2) +D
10 BROWN (2) GROUND

Could someone please help me sort this out? I am confused about the wire/pin assignment............what wires go where. If I connect them incorrectly will it damage my MoBo??

nvm, just looked at the colours, but it shouldn't damage your board, it's just like hooking up your reset switch to the power lead and vice versa (cough)

It's a little different. Besides, not everyone has the same colours, for me it is black, white, blue, and red (or something similar)

Anyway, you can't break anything, so just switch around and experiment, it's part of the joy in building a pc, lol
