Freaking me out...

So after some work trying to get my monitor to stop rattling when I listen to music (which turned out to be my stupid keyboard), including hitting the monitor gently here and there, all of the sudden it starts to pop.

Im just sitting here doing nothing and it POPS, not really loud or too quiet...just pops...

It's wierd, it does it ever now and then.

rattle around both the power cable and monitor cable on the back and see if that makes the sound appear.

yeah, if the electrical cable is slightly coming out it'll make those pops from the electricity arching

try cleaning the screen otherwise, and rubbing it with a large magnet(kidding on this last one )

I know TVs pop when the picture tube is getting ready to kick the can. This doesn't sound good.

Well...after lots of thinking, I think its the darn thing that its sitting on. However i will keep my eye on it for a while.
