Ok, so I just bought this LaCie 320GB external HD. I need to store Mac material for a class I'm taking. However, I personally own a PC operating on Windows.
I know that you can partition a drive to essentially create two separate drives.
My question is: Can I partition this drive, say in half, and then format each partition separately? That I way I will essentially have two HDs, one for macs and one for pcs, in the same case?
