I've heard of folding, but what is it?

-Intel D945PSN
-Corsair XMS DDR2 675Mhz
-Western Digital 250GB w/ 16MB and SATAII
-ATI X1900 All-in-Wonder
-Audigy 2 ZS Platinum
-3dmark05 = 4800

no i think he means in poker. folding a hand. yes it's a very wise thing to do when you have a crappy hand and doubt your bluffing abilities

uses your spare CPU time to simulate protein folding. its purpose is to try and understand proteins more and hopefully cure some diseases
