Default floppy diagnostics

ok, so I had a bad floppy drive in a pc, replaced it, it works now, but just for now, I just want to make sure it was the floppy drive, and not a problem on the MB or anything else.

Does anyone know of any floppy drive diagnostics that I can download and use????

Thanks in advance..

I have to run diagnostics on the actual drive, not the floppy disk... sorry, probably should have specified it.

The computer was a compaq, so I downloaded the diagnostics from their website....

Thanks for the reply.
