Well I can attest that the extended warranties from both Best Buy and Circuit City will fix a monitor with a single dead pixel. I did it at the former, and currently work at the later.

But yeah, most standard warranties will not take it back. Most companies have a policy of 4 in a single square inch, or 25 overall. It's annoying.

yes but too my knowledge no companies support 1 dead pixel and the pixel isn't dead it is stuck

thnakyou for correcting my previous statement shame it doesn't happen in the uk and also can't yo ask to test the monitor in store??? or is it just an online retailer
