I am looking for this computer to play games, do school work, get on the net. I will be running XP. Any advice will be helpful. But I am on a budget as you can tell. Tring to keep it around $800 but I think i will need a monitor too so that will push it up to around $1000 with keyboard and mouse and monitor.

Any advice on the monitor??? And any other hardware that I picked out. Also I have read that the Leadtek is a better graphic card than the MSI. What have you guys heard?? thanks

I have read alot of review and I came up with this, thanks guys I hope yall can help me.

Also, you might want to get one of those Plextor SATA150 optical drives. If you can, get a 3200+ venice or a 3700+ San Diego. ALso, that is a bad motherboard. Get one of these instead:

People are a little opinionated, that is a fine MoBo, especially if you're on a budget. DFI, Chaintec, Abit and Asus are all good MoBo manufactuers.

For $92 you can get the MSI Neo4

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130491

Your 6600gt is from a great company.

Also there is no need for the SATA II just get a standard sata hdd.
