Default First benchmarks socket AM2 & ddr2 800

Doesn't seem too promising. I don't think Intel as much to fear from that platform.

Good lord look at those timings. Horrible.

Not that having em at say 3-3-3-12 or something would give it that much more of a lead, but still those are some awful timings.

the best I can see for DDRII-800 is 4-3-3-12

Check Mushkin's site. They've got DDR2 at 800Mhz+ running at much better timings than that. I've got a 3-2-2-8 setup from Mushkin.
