I am trying to set up a wireless network at my parents house right now. They currently have a broadband connection with a Linksys firewall (BEFSX41). When I plug the Linksys wireless router (WRT54G) straight into the cable modem I can get the wireless connection up and running just fine. But when I plug the wireless modem into the firewall I cannot get onto the internet. I can however still get the wireless signal on my laptop. The firewall is obviously stopping the wireless modem from connecting to the internet. I do not know how to stop the firewall from doing this. Can anyone help. Thanks.

you can lower ur firewall restrictions it may be on hight put it down to medium or maybe somehow make an exeption

You are using two routers, you have to know how to setup both

Their is no point in using the BEFSX41 in your setup anyways, unless you want it for the VPN part, the BEFSX41 is a very low end buisness / SOHO router
