Well I've been planning a new computer since I started on these forums. I've been using a Dell with a pentium 3 533 mhz and I even upgraded it to 512mb of RAM
So after 10 long months I've finally upgraded to a computer that was made in the twenty-first century :D

It might not be the mammoth $1500 super comp I was planning but hey its a big jump.

Athlon 3500+
2 gb of Corsair RAM
6600gt (soon to be replaced by an x1800xt  )
MSI RD480 Neo2-fi motherboard
160gb Western Digital SATA drive
Fortron 450 watt psu (36a on the 12v cant beat it for $50)
Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro cpu heatsink/fan
Kingwin KINGWIN SK-523BKP Case
and a couple combo drives.

So what do you guys think? Not bad for a semi budget machine eh? Now I can actually do things without lag woohoo!:firstlove

the gpu check out the 7900 gto better than the gt and only 250.

and also whats your budget so people can help you make changes to your build if needed

that still a decent gaming machine and when you upgrade your gpu it should run most games on high. nice going dude

Nice job. Feels great to be able to actualy enjoy using your computer, doesn't it?
