Default a few things

im trying to build THE BEAST. money is no deterrent and after about 1 month of searching i have my list here.

650 Watt Demon Power Supply

Windows XP Professional Operating System

Pioneer 109 dual drive

Blade Deluxe tower with power supply and fan

Zalman reserator 1 water cooler

SOUNDBLASTER AUDIGY2 ZS PLATINUM PCI CARD

Nvidia nforce 4 SLI lanparty nf4 sli-dr

Corsair TWINX1024-4400PRO

146 GB hard drive 10,000rpm 8mb cache

AMD Athlon 64 FX-55

Nvidia Geforce 6800 ultra linked in SLI x2 PCI express cards

Sony floppy drive.

is that thes BEST possible setup at the moment?

and while im here i may as well ask, am i missing anything? and will stuff like usb cards and network cards already come with some of the parts e.g motherboard. I already have a TFT screen logitech z680 speakers optical mouse keyboard, printer and modem in case anyone asks.

that does sound like an earthquake catalyst. Good choice on hardware. I'm sure there are a few things you COULD upgrade, but as far as what you said... that computa's gonna ROCK!!!

One question: what are the specs of your TFT? That is, what maximum resolution does it support? With that system you're going to want to enjoy 1600x1280 (or above even).

im not sure what my monitor supports is there a way of finding out?

ok i took a look at the display specs it says its highest is 1024 by 768. but it also says on a geforce 4 mx 440 (which i know is ver old) does the card have something ot do with it?. Or my screen can only go up to 1024 by 768?
