a few questions on HD...

I just bought a 250GB WD HD. I made a partition of 20GB for Windows, but I don't see the rest in My Computer. I looked at disk management, and it said the rest of it is unallocated. How do I allocate it, to use it? My second question is, how come when I try to change the letter of my hard drives it says:
"Windows cannot modift the drive letter of your system volume or boot volume."?

in disk management, right click the unalocated space, and click create partition.

and you cant change the drive letter of ur windows drive. it will always be what you set it to when u installed (unless you can find a program that will change it to a different letter, but it has to change every link, shortcut, etc... from C:\ to X:\ (x = whatever u choose))

That's weird....I was able to change drive letters before, in disk management.

probably wasnt u windows drive tho, maybe a storage drive, or a cd drive (eg, a partition or letter thats different from the C:\ drive)
