Hello everybody, I was hoping ya'll could help me with a few questions....

1. Does Pentium have a 64 bit processor like the AMD Athlon 64? Is this a 64 bit processor?

1B. If that is not a 64 bit processor, would you reccommend (for mainly gaming, highly intensive games) the previous Intel Pentium 4 or...

2. I was snooping around an electronics store and the LGA775 (Socket T) motherboard I saw was very small, about the size of a mousepad, will that fit in a mid-tower case?

3. When I install a new motherboard and processor do I have to reformat my hard drive?

4. Is there any way to repackage installed programs back into a setup type file so I can move it to a new hardrive and install it there?

5. Have any of you seen how some people etch pictures into the acrylic window on their cases with a dremel? Looks really good with a LED light behind it.... have any of you done this that could give some advice or maybe a tutotial website? I have a few pictures i would love to have in that acrylic window...

AFAIK intel have 64-bit processors for the server types. [xeons and itaniums]. and the processor in that link is a 32 bit processor.

Go with athlon 64 . Its far better for gaming than intel's.You should find intel vs amd threads around. check those..

ITs better to make a clean install. But if you want to maintain your OS and data, remove your old mobo drivers first, then install your new mobo drivers

Nope, there is no software to do so.

 
actually there is. there's a program called Clickteam Install maker or sumthin like that. u can try googlin it. it does what u wanna do.

i'm really sorry. he was just asking 4 help n i was trying to help. i'm in no way affiliated with Clickteam.

Hey don't be an ass. There is a thing called double posting, and it is a forum error, notice how they are at the exact same times?
