Default Fan Speed and cpu moinitoring...

I just bought my brother's computer and i was playing around in the BIOS...it's PheonixBios, and I noticed that it displayed fan speed and cpu temp, but i can't get gkrellm (linux) to load it up Maybe i'll go into windows ehcspee and download coolmon and try that out later...

But if it sees it in the bios shouldn't the software be able to see it as well?
