I'm pretty sure i have a failing monitor, but would like someone who would know a bit better what ive got going on.
I have a 2 monitor setup, but the 2nd monitor runs off the igp. i would switch them, but the 2nd monitor has a vga plug only.
the primary monitor on dvi is getting some intermittent artifacting. scrolling down on a page really brings it out, but not necessarily. the bottom of the screen flickers and goes nuts and seems to be displaying a zoomed in view of the screen.
ive also been getting horizontal lines (the full height) and vertical lines ( 2 or 3 pairs across the screen). they dont black out, but probably just a repeat of the pixels beside them.
also the lines just went away, but not the screen craziness when scrolling.
any ideas?
