The simple tech looks pretty good 7200RPM w/ 8mb Cache the Seagate is a 5400RPM and the cache isn't specified

Ya the simpletech is an actually regular hard drive you can buy Im just curious who builds the hard drives etc.

I know the samsung 160GB is like a laptop hard drive. I think the cache is 8MB
