Default external hard drive

What is the best, most cost effective "1-touch" external hard drive?

it really depends on what size u want. But price wize they are quite expensive, here is one:
^^^^120GB that would be a good one especially for the price^^^^^
it would be stupid to get anything less of size even if ur not gonna use the space!!

Intel p4 HT 3.0GHz
1 16x Toshiba dvd burner
2 sticks of corsair ddr2 533mhz 512mb
GeForce Fx 6600GT
Asus P5LD2
480W thermaltake

You could try to purchase an external hard drive case and an IDE hard drive seperately.

Here is an external hard drive case:

The following are some deals from DealOverflow on IDE Hard Drives:

Seagate ST3250823AS Barracuda 250GB 7200 RPM SATA for $115 @ MonarchComputer.com

Maxtor 200GB L01P200 Ultra Series 8MB Buffer for $70 @ Outpost.com

Basically, you put the IDE HD in the external case and you can connect the hard drive using USB 2.0 with a USB cable.
