Default Erasing all data

How do i erase everything on my harddrive including windows, like if i just bought it and it was new and i have to do a a fresh install for everything,

You format it. Stick the OS CD in and reboot. That's a pretty basic explanation, but someone else will go into detail. I'm not sure of them.
