Default Elpida memory

Anyone heard of or used Elpida memory?
I saw a listing on ebay but I can't find anyone talking about it here. Let me know what your impression of it is.

Thanks.

Just searched around on google about that memory, never heard of it my self but it looks like they have been making them for a long time. I can see that there making DDR 2 and there from japan, and as i read they are japans leading manufacturer so they must be decent.

Thanks for the info. I decided to go ahead and buy it on ebay.. I won the RAM for $5.50 and it was 184-pin PC3200 256MB.

The article Chris provided was good and they seem to be at the top of their game.. they just haven't broken out yet over here in the west.

Anyways, thanks.
