Question EliteMT

I Took appart this computer dvd player of mine that didnt work. It had several mechanisms in it includeing gears and a motor. I took the Mobo of it out. And managed to pry out one of the chips. It says EliteMT| 100MHz| -25j|0217 . There are several open spots for computers chips on my Mobo in my computer. I thought maybe I could put it on my comp mobo but i decided to find out what it was first
. Any ways, does any one know what it is?
