Hello all,
I'm new to the site, so please bear with me.
I have a DVI-D Single Link cable, trying to plug into my rca d40w20 television. The television has a DVI-D Dual-Link receptor. I'm trying to use my television as a monitor.
Obviously, my single-link cable will "fit" my dual-link receptor. My question is: will it work? I intend to purchase a cheap vga-to-DVI converter piece until I can get a proper DVI-D Dual Link cable and an accompanying Video card. I'm just interested if what I have now is worth trying.
Thanks for all your help!
