dvd writer

i've recently bought a HP Dvd Writer 420i
i've been looking around and i can't find out whether i can or can't write one of these disks:

This is double layered DVD.
you have bought a single layer 4X (not even 8X) writer, which may not be able to rite the DVD. Firmware Upgarde might help. else rely on miracle, as God has ultimate power.
