DVD-Rom Drive

My DVD-ROM drive will not turn on, and wont let me open it. It isn't on my computer anymore either. It's almost like it deleted itself. If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it a lot!

I know this might sound goofy but, do the lights turn on? Maybe the molex power connector got loose somehow...

Also, if you have a CD/DVD stuck inside it, you can always use a paperclip to manually open the DVD Tray and pop out that disk.

No, it isn't found in device manager, and the lights dont turn on.
