DVD rom does't work well

Hm, but wouldn't playing mp3's from his HD rule that out? At least I'm assuming thats what he's saying... I dunno.

killians45, thanks to u dude , now i able to play dvd without problems, now teven the cdrw also got no problem !u were right about the PIO and DMA setting , but i just wonder why it default to PIO ? coz i never touch that setting .Anyway thanks again !

I got another question - now my Dvd Rom I set it to Secondary Master and CDRW to seconday Slave , should I change it or leave it ? Which setting is better ?

if you have 2000 it sometimes will do that by default. I dont know why, but it does. Its just a freak of nature I would keep things as they are now and not change them around. Never know what will happen! Probably nothing, but then again....
