ive done a bit of checking of previous posts so i dont think this question's been asked, but if it has dont shout at me please...
i just put together a new computer with a LiteOn DVD/RW SOHW-1653s. The drive reads data disks absolutely fine, however it seems to take ages to read dvd movie disks. when it does get round to displaying anything (after about 2 minutes), the audio and video are not displayed correctly- the video jerks, the audio crackles and it takes it ages to skip through menus etc.
im using a Connect3d radeon 9800 pro 128mb graphicxs, MAudio Audiophile 24/96 sound card, AMD Athlon64 3400 with a gig of ram and 2 160gig samsung spinpoint p80 SATA hdd's, all running on an ASUS K8N motherboard (windows xp OS).
please could someone suggest what the problem here may be? any help would be very much appreciated.
