DVD Burning

I was just thinking, whats the difference if u burned a movie file from your computer to a cd-r then to a dvd-r. Any quality differences? I know some dvd players cant player cd-r so thats why i was wondering.

The only difference is that a DVD can fit more onto it. So if you have a movie that's too big for a CD then you can use a DVD. There are no quality differences usually.

thanks, i get it now, buht weird thing is i have 2 drives right.. and the my drive D is always the default drive to load cds or burns cds. like in nero express i cant chooose to use my dvd burner drive E: to burn cds. any ideas why?

Change the default; i bet you can do it somewhere; especially in NERO.
If you're really desprate, take out the second drive....
