DVD Burner won't burn

I've tried Nero and Roxio burining programs but none of them will recognize my DVD burner. Roxio won't burn DVD's and Nero won't recognize my drive whatsoever. I thought it would work when i got my new hard drive and after i reinstalled windows, but it still won't work. how can i fix it?

Which software bundle did you receive with your drive?
Have you made sure the drivers are installed for the drive?

My DVD burner was OEM, and Optical drives use the windows drivers, unless your using windows 3.1 or something.

your best bet is to go to the manufacturors site and download the latest drivers.
