dual core

how do i assign programs to one core or the other, that way i can play a game while encoding or something like that.

Go into task manager and click on processes then right click on the process and hit affinity then uncheck whichever core you do NOT want it on. It is generally good to assign whatever is heavy (encoding) to the default core (most operations are generally stacked on this core) which is generally CPU 0 while putting your game on the unused one which is generally CPU 1
