right now DDR2 isnt really popular because it doesnt vastly outperform DDR

but im thinking, in about a year, we'll be seeing a lot more of it

if youre getting DDR2, wait a year

if you need ram now, save money and get DDR

you wont be missing a lot

yeah, especially since its about $200 more for 512mb than regular DDR

plus, you gotta have a newer mobo

the only problem with DDR2 is that no one has really gotten a chance to test it, so you dont know whether is good or bad

yeah, that's what my dad waits for. he waits a little bit after some has come out so that they can fix anything that needs to be fixed, like if you have to bye some thing else you know.
