Default Dual channel ram

How do i know if my ram is running in dual channel mode?

System specs below:

~Dell XPS M1710
~2.16Ghz Intel Core Duo T2600
~2048 MB DDR2 @ 667Mh
~7900 GTX 512
~Media Center

At least with my system the bios will tell you as the system is being booted. Interesting note, you can install the ram incorrectly and Intel hardware will detect it and reconfigure the board to run single channel mode(hope the term is correct). The hardware is getting better as we go through upgrades.

u might hav to upgrade BIOS, as I have previously used A7N8X, and it didnt showed any, but once on BIOS upgrade it started showing up Blah Blah amount of memory running on Dual-Channel.

though this was already in my BIOS in current mobo.

Download CPU-Z from here .

That will tell you if its running in dual channel mode.
