Default Dual 6600 vs 6800 gt

What is better? I was browsing some sites and saw some comps that had dual nvidia 6600 cards and they were more expensive than one with a single 6800 gt. Is the dual a better buy than a single 6800?

Dual 6600gt's don't work very well. It is better to get a single 6800gt.

Not every always supports SLI, if that is what you're talking about. Some games actually run worse than it would if you had a single graphics card in there, but there are settings to fix such things. I have just heard that it is better to have a single graphics card than it is to have a worse card in SLI, just because the newer better cards support things that older cards do not, whether or not you put two of them in or not.
