............you mean to tell me from that rather thorough response I put you didn't come to that conclusion?

No, you don't, but they made it specifically when 512mb were to be released which they thought was going to be rather soon but instead they are just now coming out.

Of course all of this could have been avoided simply if you had thrown it on Ultra anyway and just seen what happens.

Lol, well I did put it on ultra and I havn't noticed that much of a difference, I think the textures are a bit crisper though.

all Ultra does compared to 'high settings' is change the AF from 6x to 8x I believe....maybe it's from 4x, but basically it's going to make things far away look crisper
