It does seem strange that a Intel Pentium 4 2.4C @ 3.2GHZ beats a 3500+ @3800+ in almost everything. The benchmarks might have been fudged as Megadeth2 or he is just plain lying. Megadeth2 have you seen any hard evidence of this like the results or anything if so could you post a pic of it. As for the Pentium 4 2.4C overclocked to that much im not really surprised i got a 25% overclock on a Pentium 4 3.0GHZ Northwood with stock cooling. The Pentium 4 2.4C are one of the best overclocking processors around they also tend to reach 3.3GHZ max with stock cooling I think and can do higher with better cooling so not really a surprise.
