Dll error

Sometimes I get a message saying "application will not execute because of kernel32.dll." .... something like that. What can I do to stop this message from appearing. I can still use any apps but I am sick of seeing it. Any help is much appreciated.

Did try reinstalling your system files?

I did a system resore with my restore recovery disk... any ideas on what I need to do?

boot off of the OS cd and repair your OS, that might work...if not reinstall....

I don't have an os cd. My pc only came with a recovery cd....can I do it another way?

Before you reinstall windows, try reinstalling firefox first.
This error can be caused by a damaged java machine file. If you have any other java apps installed, they might have caused the problem, so if reinstalling firefox doesn't work, try reinstalling/updating these other apps
