Default diagnostic utility for my HD?

I keep getting pagefault_in_nonpage_area BSOD its killing me. I want to run a diagnostic tool on my hard drive but I don't know what I have. All I know is I have a 100gig (western digital I think) and in device manager is gives me this: WDC WD1000BB-00CAA0. Can anyone help me out?

It's old and I don't know what that is, so I will have to say no.
