I have a Dell Dimension 8100 and I'm curious whether or not it supports DDR. Currently I have 256 Rambus. I also want to know if where I can find what kind of motherboard I have. I don't have the manual.

Try a Google search. You can also go to dell.com and pretend you're buying the Dimension 8100. Then you can choose to customize it and it might say what kind of mobo it has.

RAMBUS Ram uses a RIMM slots wheres the rest of the ram used in computers uses a DIMM slots so your dell(and mine) can only uses RAMBUS Ram. :(

The RIMM slots (RAMBUS) are completely different than DIMM slots (DD). Since your mobo only has RIMM slots, it will not support DDR memory.
