Default Default Password for SMC AP

I'm trying to find the default password for a SMC 2655W WAP,the research I've done, says "miniap" is the default password and believe me it isn't!I've got the AP giving to me for free with no software,I finally got the software for the configuration off the web,the research keeps telling me the default is "miniap", I have reset the the AP numerous time and then go straight to the AP EZ Connect software and it reconizes the AP but not the password, anyone have any other clues on what to do?

What's this "research" you're doing? Have you contacted the guys at SMC? They respond quickly (to me) whenever i have a question or problem. They've also got downloadable manuals on their website. They should be able to help you. The default password for some of the SMC routers is empty... not the word empty... but actually nothing at all. You have to set it after you log in. Maybe yours is the same? Just an idea.

The only \"intuitive\" interface is the nipple. After that, it\'s all learned. ;)
