Default Decent gaming laptop: 6600GT + AMD 64?

Im looking to replace the hunk of junk im using right now. Id like to get something with at least the following specs:

1680X1040 screen size
1gb of ram
60gb 7200rpm
Geforce 6600 GT
Athlon 64 3400+
Windows XP Home

Now the thing is, i cant find any place that has a barebook which uses both a 64 and a 6600GT. The only processor ive found that comes with the 6600GT is a Pentium M. The only vid card ive found that comes with a 64 is a 9700 Pro.

This will be used for a decent amount of gaming (HL2, Painkiller, FarCry, etc). Also, my budget is around $1500, but its sorta flexible.

Sorry, im not incredibly knowledgable on computers. Any input is appreciated.

Send a message via AIM to DJ-CHRIS

You should REALLY look into a desktop or at least a mini PC...

your budget is too low

also, 6600gt's are very hard to find in laptops

I don\'t play for fun, I play to win and winning is fun.

I recommend ASUS Z7V1 from or, you should be able to get a decent one between $1400-$1800. Is about 6.5 pounds and it has the 6600GT and Athlon64. Hope that helps.
