Default A decent Foxconn Board?

Every magazine review I've read has one positive thing to say after another about this particular board. I know alot of people here dislike Foxconn or write them off as a joke but from everything I've read people who have actually used this board are extremely pleased (and suprised) by it's layout, performance, ease of use and stability. Is this company coming around and would you guys recommend this board for a first time builder who isn't planning to overclock?
