As my computer boots up it says I am running DDR333 memory when I have a kingston pc3200 ddr400 512 and a corsair same. Do i need to change something in the bios or is my mobo or processor holding me back (AMD 64 3000 and soltek SL-K8AN2E-GR mobo) thanks

Not 100% sure.. but it's probly your processor. The FSB or w/e is at 167... or is it that.. so your ram is being downclocked to pc2700 speeds... I'm probably wrong but its something like that.

says he has an AMD64 3000+ dude, it wouldn't be at 166 lol

Go through your BIOS man and see if can manually adjust the RAM ratio, or RAM frequency somewhere.....in the BIOS it might be listed as 166 in which case you'd need to raise it to 200

I have this problem, there is meant to be a problem with having 4 sticks of ram, so I have my ram underclocked. It would be listed as cpu/11 for the ram ratio, find it in the bios and put it to 1:1

the only thing i can find in bios advanced chipset is max memory clock and that only goes up to 166mhz, how do i get to the ratio
