The Intel Springdale chipset is supposed to include support for DDR2, PCi Express and a few other things. No idea when its due though...

Well, DDR2 is gonna be very expensive and abit slower than DDR memory when it comes out

As for PCI Express well, yeah its gonna be alot faster than AGP 8X, but were not fully utilizing AGP8X yet, so performance gains will be minimal for now till games and stuff can use it to it's full advantage.

It will be able to go faster than DDR at less voltages and less heat Eventually it will come down in price and speed up Have no fear about that
