There is a HP SureStore DAT 24 that is for Backing up the company data. There is about 17Gb worth of Data.
We are currenty using HP DAT3 12Gb/24Gb Tapes.
However, we are having an error saying that there is not enough space on the Tape.
With NTBackup, we are using the following setting :-
* Verify Data after back up
* Use hardware compression if avalable.
* Replace Existing Backup
So according to the NTBACKUP SETTING,
We are over writing the data.
And we are using the hardware compression with is one the HP SureStore DAT24 drive.
And this is happening with all the tapes that we have, not just one.
So am I missing out on something???
