Default How bad is Cyrix?

When I was a freshman, this kid was talking about building his computer. I decided to take it upon myself to tell him that the Cyrix M2 processor was the best ever made. He was totally convinced, and absolutely bull sh!t when I finally told him otherwise. He never did build his computer, he was full of crap. I knew this, and thats why I convinced his of the Cyrix.

Question: Are they as crappy as they make out to be? I'm looking for an unbiased opinion here *cough* -djchris- *cough*

I notcied some people *hack* - djchris- *hack* use Cyrixand nothiong else, claiming it as the best.

Someone tell me whats really up with these cpus? If they suck so bad, can someone tell me as to why they suck so bad?
