hey guys .. simple question....
im getting an amd athlon 64 3500+ 90nano model and an msi neo 2 motherboard.. got questions of course..
1) would you recommend installing the cpu in the motherboard before installing the motherboard in the case ?
2)if i plan on using the retail fan, without overclocking, it wont overheat will it ?
thanks for future input =D

1) I didnt, but your situation might be a little different. Really it's your choice, but remember to do so on a non carpeted surface and a static free area.

2) It shouldnt overheat, if you are worried about it though, check it with a probe provided by the motherboard manufacturer.

I prefer to install the CPU and the Fan before I put the motherboard in the case. Just because sometimes it takes a little pressure to put the fan on, and I like to do it on a flat surface where I can work.

Put it on outside the case its alot easier .I also use it to hold the motherboard as i manuver it into the case when i dont have a removable MB tray.
