Default Cpu help :)

Which CPU is better for gaming and such? I have a AMD Athlon Slot A (699 MHz) and a P3 (600MHz). I am currently using the AMD but the P3 is a chip, will that be any better? Plz help, thx

They're both about the same. I think they both had close tot he same FSB. AMD has a lead over Intel because of initial out of pocket cost is lower with the AMD for comparable speeds.

I prefer AMD because of that and they're the underdog. Always root for the underdog.
