CPU fan not showing in Bios?

Not that this is a big deal, but my CPU fan is not being shown in Bios via RPMs, but my second fan I have attached to the motherboard is being shown. Don't flame me for being trivial, it just bugs me

maybe you got your NB and CPU fan 3pin power connector mixed up? About all I could think of. Does your CPU Fan have a 3pin connector with all 3 wires meaning Red - +12v , Black - Ground, Yellow(usually) - RPM Detection? Other than that I don't know, unless your mobo just doesn't want to read it for whatever reason

maybe u have it connected directly to ur PSU

nah, if it was directly connected to PSU and if it was a relatively newer board (i.e. 5 years old) the comp would just just down....built in safety feature.
