Couple of new monitors - Need advice on what to buy.

Hi, basically I have no idea what so ever when it comes to monitors, so I'm looking for two new monitors, 1920x1080 for around £130-170.

Asus ML239H 23" IPS LED Monitor - Scan.co.uk

I'm currently looking at them, by running one through a HDMI and one through a Mini-DP to HDMI converter.

What are these monitors for? Gaming, graphics design, programming?

Gaming mostly, I do a little bit of programming on the side.
