I hate to sound like a dumbass, but while reading about the ram for the Asus sk8v board, it says that it prefers Kingston RAM and that the Corsair sticks are designed for Intel boards. Is Corsair and the AMD and Asus chips and boards compatible or should I keep searching for other brands?

Items in question:
Corsair TWINX1024 1GB DDR400 DIMM RAM
Asus SK8V VIA K8T800 Motherboard
AMD ATHLON64 FX-51 940PIN

Actual microbell. Mobos can favour some ram over an other but as long as the ram is decent quality it should work with all mobos that it is designed for(like ddr boards should support all decent quality ddr ram in most cases)
he he an other time we disagree micro

im running XMSCorsiar PC 2700 LL on an Asus P4G8X Deluxe mobo with no problems :)
