Core i7 power consumption during sleep mode in win 7?

you can get a Kill-a-Watt and measure how much the PSU is using. That's the only thing I can think of.

Kill-A-Watt won't do that, it only measures the whole computer's consumption. There is probably some software that can track it while it sleeps. Try something like Everest or do a quick google search.

There is no software that can run while the computer sleeps, that I know of anyhow.

MoM is correct. No software will run while a computer is in sleep mode.

A kill o watt is your best bet even though it will tell you consumption for the whole computer it is the best, most accurate reading you can achieve.
